This abstract art course in Toronto will introduce students to the fundamental principles of composition while encouraging learners to think abstractly and discover how to create their own abstract art style by exploring colour, pattern, shape, line, and expressive mark-making. Abstract painting students taking our beginner abstract painting classes will create projects which explore the possibilities of abstract art towards developing a stronger visual language of expression. Our educators will provide demonstrations and critiques throughout the course.

No previous painting experience or knowledge is required for participants to take this course.
Participants must be 18 or older.
