lesson objective
Through examining the paintings of Chris Walsh, students will learn about his techniques and processes, with a focus on turning 2D creations into 3D sculptural forms. Students will use found material, wood, carpet, textiles, and items from the recycling bin, and create found-object map sculptures using layering and assembling. This lesson encourages students to bring items from their recycling bins at home.

One lesson is restricted to one class. Classes cannot be combined to reach the maximum size.

set-up (45 minutes)

Yes! We provide all art supplies and materials required for each lesson.

Yes! We highly encourage booking two lessons for a day!
For example, two different teachers can book lessons for the same day.
