    50.00 Per Participant for a Half-day workshop with a minimum of 15 people

Our Role

Blank Canvases has been contracted by OCAD University, Toronto Arts Foundation, the City of Oakville, TDSB and TCDSB to train leaders to deliver art curriculum.

We offer workshops that equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to teach their own art lessons in the classroom.

WORKSHOPS

Participants will engage in hands-on projects and activities. Through this, teachers will:

Gain practical experience, inspiration, and numerous ideas and teaching methods.

Use art as a vehicle to build critical thinking and problem-solving for students.

Employ practical strategies for sourcing sustainable and affordable art-making materials. 

Understand how to meet the Ontario Ministry of Education Learning Outcomes for Visual Art.

Apply progressive art pedagogy into practical and easy steps for any lesson design.
