Our volunteers allow us to make it all happen!

Blank Canvases does in-school programming and art engagements for all kinds of festivals and events around Toronto.

We have an excellent team of volunteers who help us make it real. Our volunteers are artists, educators and people who simply love interacting with the public through arts and culture.

What we can provide you:

  • Signatures for High School Volunteer Hours

  • References for jobs

  • Feedback and development for skills

  • Training in community arts and cultural engagement

What To Expect:

We are looking for volunteers to help us with the following:

  • Engaging with the public at our art booths at cultural events 

  • Helping to organize and prepare supplies for our art programs 

  • Research and office administration for the organization's day-to-day needs 

  • Assisting with project management and coordination of events and new programs 

  • Social media and marketing outreach and content creation

  • Outreach for sustainable art supplies and pick up and drop off of materials
